ONGOING HIGHLIGHTS OF
LINDA’S 27 YEARS AT
UNIVERSAL PICTURES

In the mid-‘90s, Linda was hired as an event designer at Universal Pictures Marketing. This marked the beginning of 27 years of heart-pounding, around-the-world exhilaration, creating and overseeing events that included world premieres, award shows, film festivals, and media stunts to open all Universal theatrically-released films - from stage to screen - screen to stage.
As Vice President of Special Projects, Linda always said, “This work is live theatre without dress rehearsals.”
Linda made it a point to turn world premieres into benefit premieres, which extended the reach of the press and benefited a good cause.
Linda opened the first Universal Pictures’ franchise films. She followed them through to the present-day sequels, some of which include Jurassic Park, The Bourne Identity, The Fast & the Furious, Despicable Me, Bridget Jones, American Pie, Mamma Mia! and Pitch Perfect.
Below are highlights to also embrace Linda’s themes of bringing meaning, iconic moments to each event.
